This document presents the results of antenna pattern testing performed by dB Technology (Cambridge) Ltd. on the Sepura SC21 Quarter-Wave Whip Antenna (PN 310-00015). The tests were conducted at the Radio Test Site in Cottenham, Cambridge, UK.
The primary objective of these tests was to evaluate the radiation efficiency of the SC21 antenna when connected to Sepura SC21 TW and UW Band radios. The report details the methodology used, including gain correction factors and radiation pattern measurements. Various configurations were tested, including free space, lapel-worn, and belt-worn positions, with and without accessories like the Basic RSM and RAC Two-Wire Kit.
The report includes detailed plots of the antenna gain in different configurations and frequencies, along with maximum, minimum, and average gain values. Photos of the test setups are also provided to illustrate the positioning of the UUT during the measurements. The document provides a comprehensive overview of the antenna's performance under different operating conditions.
