This report details the validation of the Time-Averaged Specific Absorption Rate (TA-SAR) Gen2 algorithm implemented in the Motorola Mobile Cellular Phone (Model: XT2527-1, FCC ID: IHDT56AV5). The validation was conducted by Sporton International Inc. (Shenzhen) to ensure compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements under various dynamic transmission scenarios.
The report outlines the test setup, procedures, and results for several scenarios, including variations in TA-SAR Gen2 parameters, time-varying transmit power, call disconnection and re-establishment, band handover, Exposure Condition Index (ECI) changes, antenna switching, time window switching, and SAR exposure switching. Both conducted power measurements and SAR measurements were performed to validate the algorithm's performance.
The results demonstrate that the TA-SAR Gen2 algorithm effectively manages transmit power to maintain SAR levels within FCC limits across all tested scenarios. This validation confirms the algorithm's ability to ensure RF exposure compliance for the Motorola Mobile Cellular Phone.
