This document presents the Radio Frequency (RF) exposure evaluation for the Tuya Wifi Fingerprint Access Control device, model HF5, and its listed models. The evaluation adheres to ANSI and IEEE standards, as well as FCC regulations, ensuring the device's safety regarding human exposure to electromagnetic fields. The document outlines the limits for maximum permissible exposure (MPE) in both controlled and uncontrolled environments, detailing electric and magnetic field strengths, power density, and averaging times.
The evaluation includes calculations based on the device's antenna characteristics, conducted peak output power, and manufacturing tolerances. The MPE is calculated at a distance of 20cm, as specified by the manufacturer, and compared against the FCC limits. The results demonstrate that the device complies with the FCC's RF exposure limits for uncontrolled environments, as per 47 CFR 2.1093 and KDB 447498 v06. This evaluation confirms the safety of the Tuya Wifi Fingerprint Access Control device for its intended use.
