This document presents the RF exposure evaluation for the 2BOY8-SMARTWATCH, conducted in accordance with 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06. The evaluation focuses on determining whether SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) testing is required based on established exclusion thresholds for devices operating between 100 MHz and 6 GHz with test separation distances of ≤ 50 mm.
The evaluation utilizes the formula: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] ·[√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR. The maximum output power of the device is measured at 3.29dBm (2.13mW), and the RF channel transmit frequency is 2.480 GHz. The calculation yields a value of 0.671, which is less than the 3.0 threshold for 1-g SAR. Therefore, based on these results, SAR evaluation is not required for the 2BOY8-SMARTWATCH.
