This document presents the RF exposure evaluation for a portable device, conducted by Shenzhen CTB Testing Co., Ltd. The evaluation adheres to §15.247(e)(i) and §1.1307(b)(1) of FCC regulations, ensuring that the device operates in a manner that does not expose the public to excessive radio frequency energy levels. The assessment follows the guidelines outlined in KDB447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance V06.
The report focuses on determining SAR test exclusion thresholds for frequencies between 100 MHz and 6 GHz at test separation distances of ≤ 50 mm. The calculation considers the maximum power of the channel, including tune-up tolerance, and the minimum test separation distance. The formula used is [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)]·[√f(GHZ)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR.
The results for various modulations (GFSK, π/4DQPSK, and 8DQPSK) are presented, demonstrating that the calculated SAR values are below the exclusion threshold, indicating compliance with FCC limits. The maximum result obtained is 0.78490, which is less than the FCC limit of 3.0 for 1g SAR, confirming that SAR test exclusion is applicable.
