RF Exposure Evaluation for SMT-FOR01 Portable Device

RF Exposure Info

This document presents an RF exposure evaluation for the SMT-FOR01 portable device, conducted by Shenzhen CTB Testing Co., Ltd. The evaluation adheres to FCC guidelines outlined in §15.247(e)(i) and §1.1307(b)(1), ensuring the device operates in a manner that does not expose the public to excessive radio frequency energy levels. The assessment is based on KDB447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance V06.

The report focuses on SAR test exclusion thresholds for 1-g and 10-g SAR, considering test separation distances of ≤ 50 mm. The calculation involves the maximum power of the channel, including tune-up tolerance, and the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz. Power and distance values are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation, with the final result rounded to one decimal place.

When the minimum test separation distance is less than 5 mm, a distance of 5 mm is applied for SAR test exclusion determination. The evaluation concludes that the maximum result (0.00603) is less than the FCC Limit of 3.0 for 1g SAR, indicating compliance.
