RF Exposure Evaluation Report - MPE-Based Exemption

RF Exposure - BLE

This document presents an RF exposure evaluation report, focusing on MPE-based exemption. The evaluation adheres to subpart 2.1091, ensuring that the device operates in a manner that does not expose the public to RF energy levels exceeding communication guidelines. It also complies with KDB 447498 D04 Interim General RF Exposure Guidance.

The report leverages general frequency and separation-distance dependent MPL-based effective radiated power (ERP) thresholds, as outlined in Table B.1 [Table 1 of § 1.1307(b)(3)(i)(C)], to support an exemption from further evaluation within the frequency range of 300 kHz to 100 GHz. The minimum separation distance (R) is a key parameter in this evaluation, with R defined as the minimum separation distance in meters and f representing the frequency in MHz.

The results indicate compliance, with specific data provided for BT, BLE, 2.4G Wi-Fi, 5.2G Wi-Fi, and 5.8G Wi-Fi modes. The tune-up conducted power and antenna gain, as declared by the applicant, are considered in the ERP calculations. It's important to note that the BT, 2.4G Wi-Fi, and 5G Wi-Fi cannot transmit simultaneously. To maintain compliance, the equipment should be placed at least 20cm from nearby persons.
