TUV SUD EMC Test Report: Radiated Emission Analysis

2.4 WiFi Test Report 4

This document is an EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) test report from TUV SUD, focusing on radiated emission analysis. The report details tests conducted on a device operating in the 2.4 GHz WiFi band, covering various IEEE 802.11 standards including 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n (HT20 and HT40), and 802.11ax (HE20 and HE40). The primary objective is to assess the device's compliance with radiated emission limits.

The report includes frequency plots illustrating radiated emission levels across a range of frequencies (1-18 GHz and above 18 GHz). Critical frequencies, where emissions are closest to the regulatory limits, are identified and analyzed. Tables provide detailed information on these critical frequencies, including MaxPeak and Average emission levels, margin relative to the limit, antenna height and polarization, azimuth, and correction factors. The test setup and equipment used are also documented, ensuring traceability and repeatability of the measurements.

The document adheres to the recommendations of ISO 17025 for measurement uncertainty and includes a statement on the decision rule used for determining compliance with specification limits, based on IEC Guide 115: 2023. Photographs of the test setups and the EUT (Equipment Under Test) are referenced, providing visual context for the testing procedures.
