This document presents an RF exposure evaluation for the 91639 color changing speaker utility light, conducted by Global Testing Group (GTG). The evaluation assesses the device's compliance with FCC regulations regarding radio frequency energy exposure to the public, as outlined in §15.247(i) and §1.1307(b)(1).
The device operates in the 2402-2480MHz frequency band using Bluetooth (BT) technology with GFSK, π/4-DQPSK, and 8DPSK modulation schemes. The maximum antenna gain is -0.58dBi, and the maximum output power is -7.64dBm (0.0002W). The evaluation considers the minimum separation distance of 5mm and applies the SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz. The calculations demonstrate that the device meets the SAR test exclusion criteria, indicating that routine SAR evaluation is not required for the BT antenna. Therefore, no simultaneous SAR measurement is necessary.
The evaluation concludes that the 91639 color changing speaker utility light complies with the FCC's RF exposure guidelines, ensuring public safety.
