RF Exposure Evaluation Report for FSC3-X2 Bluetooth Device

RF exposure

This document presents an RF Exposure Evaluation for the FSC3-X2 Bluetooth device, adhering to FCC guidelines and safety standards. The evaluation assesses the potential impact of radio frequency (RF) radiation on human exposure, as specified in section 1.1307(b) of the regulations. The report outlines the limits for Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) in both occupational/controlled and general population/uncontrolled environments.

The evaluation includes calculations based on the Friis transmission formula to determine power density at a specified distance from the antenna. The results demonstrate that the device operates within the established MPE limits for both Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Basic Rate/Enhanced Data Rate (BR+EDR) modes. Specifically, the power density at a distance of 20cm is significantly below the limit of 1 mW/cm² for both GFSK and 8DPSK modulations. Therefore, a Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) test is not required, confirming the device's compliance with RF exposure safety standards.
