This document presents an RF exposure evaluation conducted in accordance with FCC guidelines, specifically 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06. The evaluation focuses on determining whether Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) testing is required for the device with FCC ID 2A9CD-X31.
The evaluation utilizes the SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances of ≤ 50 mm. The formula used considers the maximum power of the channel, the minimum test separation distance, and the RF channel transmit frequency. The power and distance values are rounded to the nearest mW and mm, respectively, before calculation, and the final result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison.
The results indicate that the device's output power (2.32 mW at 2441MHz) meets the SAR exclusion criteria. Specifically, the calculated value (0.72) is less than the threshold of 3.0 for 1-g SAR. Therefore, based on these findings, SAR evaluation is not required for this device.
