RF Exposure

This document presents an RF exposure evaluation report, focusing on MPE-Based Exemption. The evaluation adheres to subpart 15.247 (i) and subpart 2.1091 of the FCC regulations, ensuring that the device operates in a manner that prevents public exposure to RF energy levels exceeding established communication guidelines. The assessment also follows the guidelines outlined in KDB 447498 D04 v01 Interim General RF Exposure Guidance.

The report leverages the general frequency and separation-distance dependent MPE-based effective radiated power (ERP) thresholds specified in Table B.1 [Table 1 of § 1.1307(b)(3)(i)(C)] to determine exemption from further evaluation within the frequency range of 300 kHz to 100 GHz. The minimum separation distance is calculated based on the frequency in MHz. The evaluation includes specific data for Bluetooth operation within the 2402-2480 MHz frequency range, considering tune-up conducted power and antenna gain to determine the ERP and compare it against the ERP limit. The results indicate compliance, provided the equipment is placed at least 20cm from nearby persons.
