This report validates the Time-Averaged Specific Absorption Rate (TA-SAR) Gen2 algorithm in the OPPO mobile phone (CPH2737) under dynamic transmit power scenarios, ensuring compliance with FCC RF exposure limits. The TA-SAR Gen2 algorithm manages TX power to meet FCC SAR requirements for frequencies < 6GHz, using averaging windows of 100 seconds for frequencies less than 3GHz and 60 seconds for frequencies between 3GHz and 6GHz.
The validation covers various test scenarios, including different TA-SAR Gen2 parameters, time-varying TX power, call disconnection/re-establishment, RAT/band handover, Exposure Condition Index (ECI) changes, antenna switching, time window switching, and SAR exposure switching between active radios. Conducted power measurements and SAR measurements are performed to verify the algorithm's performance under these conditions.
The report details the test configurations, procedures, and results for each scenario, demonstrating that the TA-SAR Gen2 algorithm effectively controls RF exposure and maintains compliance with FCC regulations. The Plimit used in this report is determined in Part 0 and Part 1 report.
