This report details the RF exposure assessment of the CalAmp ATU1650MB mobile device, conducted by Eurofins Electrical and Electronic Testing NA, Inc. The evaluation ensures compliance with the Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) limits specified in FCC 1.1310 and RSS-102 Issue 6 for general public/uncontrolled environments. The device, a battery-powered GPS tracker with cellular and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) capabilities, was tested for RF exposure from its cellular modem (BG95M5) and BLE chip (CC2652).
The report includes detailed calculations of power density for each transmitting band, including LTE CAT-M1 and BLE, at a distance of 20 cm. Simultaneous transmission scenarios, specifically BLE and LTE CAT-M1 B2/25, were analyzed to ensure that the combined RF exposure remains within the regulatory limits. The results demonstrate that the ATU1650MB complies with both FCC and ISED MPE limits, confirming its safety for intended use. The report also includes antenna gain information and operational descriptions provided by CalAmp.
