This document details the calibration parameters for the EX3DV4 probe with serial number 7391, specifically focusing on its performance in head tissue simulating media. The calibration was performed by the TTL Speag Calibration Laboratory in collaboration with CAICT. The document provides crucial data for accurate SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) measurements in the frequency range of 750 MHz to 5800 MHz. Key parameters include Relative Permittivity, Conductivity, ConvF (Conversion Factor) for X, Y, and Z axes, Alpha, and Depth. These parameters are essential for compensating for the effects of the head tissue on the probe's readings, ensuring reliable and precise SAR assessments.
The document also includes information on frequency validity, tissue parameter validity, and the determination of Alpha/Depth during calibration. It emphasizes the importance of these parameters in minimizing boundary effects and ensuring accurate SAR measurements at various distances from the boundary. Furthermore, the appendix provides modulation calibration parameters for a wide range of communication systems, including GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, LTE, and WLAN, enabling the probe to be used for SAR testing of devices operating under different modulation schemes.
