This document presents an RF exposure evaluation conducted by GTS, adhering to the guidelines outlined in 447498 D04 Interim General RF Exposure Guidance v01. The evaluation determines whether the device's RF emissions comply with established safety limits, ensuring user safety.
The report includes calculations of power thresholds (Pth) based on frequency and distance, utilizing formulas (B.1) and (B.2). A table (B.2) provides example power thresholds for various frequencies and distances. The evaluation also considers the equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP) and effective radiated power (ERP), calculated using the formula ERP/EIRP = PT + GT - LC, where PT is the transmitter output power, GT is the antenna gain, and LC is the signal attenuation.
A specific analysis is performed for BLE mode, detailing the output power, antenna gain, EIRP, and ERP. The results indicate that the device's emissions are below the specified thresholds, concluding that SAR evaluation is not required.
