This document serves as a formal announcement from BIOTRONIK regarding a modification to the CardioMessenger Smart 4G device. The primary driver for this change is the discontinuation of the currently utilized modem. Specifically, the existing ME910C1-WW LTE modem, identified by FCC ID RI7ME910C1WW, will be replaced by the ME910G1-WW modem, which carries the FCC ID RI7ME910G1WW.
BIOTRONIK assures that the new modem is designed to be pin-compatible with the existing system, ensuring a seamless transition. Furthermore, the updated modem will continue to support the same frequency bands as its predecessor, maintaining consistent performance and functionality. The only alteration to the device is an updated parts list to reflect the modem change. No other modifications have been made to the PCB, including the integrated antenna system.
This change is purely component-driven and does not affect the core functionality or regulatory compliance of the CardioMessenger Smart 4G device.
