SAR Measurement Report: WLAN 2.4GHz & Custom Band Analysis

SAR Report App C

This document presents a comprehensive Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) measurement report for two distinct frequency bands: WLAN 2.4GHz and a custom band. The report details the exposure conditions, hardware configurations, and scan setups employed during the testing process. For WLAN 2.4GHz, the report specifies the use of IEEE 802.11b WiFi protocol with a data rate of 1 Mbps and a 99% duty cycle. The custom band testing utilizes a continuous wave (CW) signal.

The hardware setup includes detailed information about the probes (EX3DV4 - SN7709 and SN7710), data acquisition electronics (DAE4 Sn1714 and Sn1715), and phantoms (ELI V5.0 - SN1196 and ELI V8.0 - SN2081) used. The report also provides information on the TSL (Tissue Simulating Liquid) used for each frequency band, including its permittivity and conductivity.

The scan setup outlines the grid extents, grid steps, sensor surface distance, and grading parameters used for both area and zoom scans. The measurement results include psSAR1g and psSAR10g values, as well as power drift measurements. Visual representations of the SAR distribution are provided in the form of interpolated SAR plots.
