RF Exposure Evaluation Report: MPE-Based Exemption Analysis

RF Exposure - BLE

This document presents an RF exposure evaluation report, focusing on MPE-based exemption. The evaluation adheres to subpart 2.1091, ensuring that the device operates in a manner that does not expose the public to RF energy levels exceeding communication guidelines. The report also complies with KDB 447498 D04 v01 Interim General RF Exposure Guidance.

The evaluation utilizes general frequency and separation-distance dependent MPE-based effective radiated power (ERP) thresholds, as outlined in Table B.1 [Table 1 of § 1.1307(b)(3)(i)(C)]. This table supports an exemption from further evaluation for frequencies ranging from 300 kHz to 100 GHz. The report includes calculations and assessments based on the provided formulas and thresholds to determine compliance.

The results indicate that the device complies with the RF exposure guidelines, provided that the equipment is placed at least 20cm from nearby persons. The report details the conducted power, antenna gain, ERP, and evaluation distance for various modes of operation, including BT, BLE, 2.4G Wi-Fi, and 5.2G Wi-Fi.
