RF Exposure Evaluation for Mobile Bluetooth Remote Control

RF Exposure Evaluation

This document presents an RF exposure evaluation for a mobile phone Bluetooth remote control, identified by FCC ID 2BKMT-M9 and model number M9. The evaluation adheres to ANSI C95.1-1999 and FCC KDB publication 447498 D01, ensuring compliance with safety standards for human exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic fields.

The device is categorized as a portable device intended for general population/uncontrolled environment exposure. The evaluation focuses on standalone SAR test exclusion considerations, as outlined in KDB447498 D01, Section 4.3.1. The analysis determines whether SAR testing is required based on the device's output power, operating frequency, and minimum test separation distance.

Conducted peak output power measurements were performed for various modulation schemes (GFSK, π/4DQPSK, and 8DPSK) across different channels. The results, along with manufacturing tolerances, were used to calculate the SAR test exclusion threshold. The evaluation concludes that the device meets the SAR test exclusion criteria, indicating compliance with FCC limits for uncontrolled RF exposure and SAR Exclusion Threshold per KDB 447498 D01V06.
