This document presents the RF exposure evaluation for the 2A49Z-FLASHBADGER portable device, conducted by Shenzhen CTB Testing Co., Ltd. The evaluation ensures compliance with FCC regulations, specifically §15.247(e)(i) and §1.1307(b)(1), which mandate that devices operate in a manner that does not expose the public to excessive radio frequency energy levels.
The assessment follows the guidelines outlined in KDB447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance V06. The 1-g and 10-g SAR test exclusion thresholds are calculated for frequencies between 100 MHz and 6 GHz, with test separation distances of ≤ 50 mm. The calculation considers the maximum power of the channel, including tune-up tolerance, and the minimum test separation distance. The formula used is [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)]·[√f(GHZ)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR.
The results indicate that the device meets the SAR test exclusion criteria. The maximum calculated result is 0.00105, which is below the FCC limit of 3.0 for 1g SAR. Therefore, the device is deemed compliant with RF exposure regulations.
