This document presents the RF exposure evaluation for a wireless device, specifically focusing on compliance with Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) limits. The evaluation adheres to the criteria outlined in relevant regulations, ensuring the safety of human exposure to radio frequency radiation. The document includes tables detailing the MPE limits for both occupational/controlled and general population/uncontrolled environments, considering factors such as frequency range, electric field strength, magnetic field strength, and power density.
The Friis transmission formula is employed to calculate power density based on output power, antenna gain, and distance. The evaluation also includes test results for the WIFI2.4G band, presenting data on output power, tune-up tolerance, maximum tune-up power, and resulting power density at a specified distance. The results demonstrate compliance with the MPE limit of 1 mW/cm², indicating that the device operates within safe exposure levels. The software provided by the client was used to transmit and receive data at the lowest, middle, and highest channels individually.
