RF Exposure Assessment for CF2004RM: MPE & SAR Exemption

RF Exposure

This document presents an RF exposure assessment for the CF2004RM device, conducted in accordance with FCC guidelines outlined in 447498 D04 Interim General RF Exposure Guidance v01. The assessment explores both MPE (Maximum Permissible Exposure) and SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) based exemption criteria to determine compliance.

The document details the MPE-based exemption, applicable for a wide frequency range (300 kHz to 100 GHz) and separation distances greater than or equal to λ/2π. It also covers the SAR-based exemption, which relies on frequency, power, and separation distance thresholds. The SAR test exclusion threshold for 433 MHz is determined to be 22 mW. Based on field strength measurements and calculations, the maximum EIRP is -5.62dBm, resulting in an ERP of -7.77 dBm (0.167mW). The conducted power is -7.52 dBm (0.177 mW).

Given the calculated values and the application of a 5 mm separation distance, the assessment concludes that no SAR testing is required for the CF2004RM device.
