This document presents a verification report on the power reduction mechanisms implemented in the device, as per the May 2017 TCBC Workshop guidelines. The report details the proper functioning of detection and triggering mechanisms to support RF exposure conditions. A base station simulator was used to establish a conducted RF connection and monitor output power under various operating conditions related to power reduction. The verification procedure involved confirming power measurements within expected tolerances before and after triggering power reduction mechanisms across relevant modes and frequency bands.
The device utilizes different Exposure Condition Index (ECI) values to configure time-averaged power levels based on exposure scenarios. The report includes results for head, hotspot, body-worn, and extremity exposure conditions, with detailed measurements for different wireless technologies and antenna configurations. The verification process ensures that the power reduction mechanisms function correctly to maintain compliance with RF exposure limits under various usage scenarios.
