RF Exposure Evaluation for SIP-8082-V Device

RF Exposure Info

This document presents the Radio Frequency (RF) exposure evaluation for the SIP-8082-V device, conducted in accordance with KDB447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06, Clause 4.3.1(a). The evaluation assesses the device's compliance with RF exposure limits, ensuring safe operation for users.

The evaluation utilizes the formula [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW) / (min. test separation distance, mm)] * [√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0, where f(GHz) represents the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz. Power and distance values are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation. The test exclusions are applicable only when the minimum test separation distance is ≤ 50 mm, and for transmission frequencies between 100 MHz and 6 GHz. When the minimum test separation distance is < 5 mm, a distance of 5 mm according to 4.1 f) is applied to determine SAR test exclusion.

The test results indicate that the device passes the RF exposure requirements. The calculated data for Bluetooth operation is 0.4387, which is below the limit of 3.0. The maximum antenna gain is 0dBi, and the exposure evaluation safety distance is 5mm.
