RF Exposure Evaluation Report - MPE-Based Exemption

RF Exposure

This document presents an RF exposure evaluation report, focusing on MPE-based exemption. The evaluation ensures that the device operates within the guidelines set by the FCC to protect the public from excessive RF energy exposure. The report adheres to subpart 2.1091 and KDB 447498 D04 Interim General RF Exposure Guidance V01.

The evaluation utilizes general frequency and separation-distance dependent MPE-based effective radiated power (ERP) thresholds, as outlined in Table B.1 [Table 1 of § 1.1307(b)(3)(i)(C)]. This approach supports an exemption from further evaluation for frequencies ranging from 300 kHz to 100 GHz. The report details the conducted power, antenna gain, and ERP for various modes, including Bluetooth, BLE, 2.4G Wi-Fi, 5.2G Wi-Fi, and 5.8G Wi-Fi. The results demonstrate compliance with the ERP limits at a specified evaluation distance.

The report concludes that the device complies with FCC's RF exposure guidelines, provided that the equipment is placed at least 20cm from nearby persons. The tune-up conducted power and antenna gain were declared by the applicant. The BT, 2.4G Wi-Fi and 5G Wi-Fi cannot transmit at same time.
