Cover Letter

This document is a compliance letter from TEKTELIC Communications Inc. to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regarding the application for FCC ID: 2ALEPT0008814. The letter addresses compliance with the Permissive Change Policy for functional variants of the CHICKADEE Sensor Module. The variants include the standard CHICKADEE Sensor Module and a Contact Charging version, both of which are LoRa sensors for IoT applications.

The letter confirms that both variants support multiple RF regions, including North America, and are powered by an internal 3.7 V LI-ION rechargeable battery. The Contact Charging variant adds two metal contacts for charging. The letter states that both variants share the same printed circuit board and are not different in RF circuitry. The functional variants are compliant to the requirements outlined in Section III of KDB Publication 178919 D01 (Permissive Change Policy) and that each variant is considered electrically equivalent.
