RF Exposure Evaluation for 2A6FW-Y12 Device

RF exposure

This document presents the RF exposure evaluation for the device with FCC ID 2A6FW-Y12. The evaluation is conducted according to KDB 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06 and part 2.1093 of the FCC regulations. The purpose is to determine whether standalone 1-g head or body and 10-g extremity Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) evaluation is required for general population exposure conditions.

The evaluation utilizes SAR Test Exclusion Thresholds for 100 MHz - 6 GHz and ≤ 50 mm separation distances. The document provides a table of approximate SAR Test Exclusion Power Thresholds at selected frequencies and test separation distances. The calculation considers the maximum power of the channel, including tune-up tolerance, and the minimum test separation distance.

The results indicate that the SAR Test Exclusion Thresholds are met for a separation distance of 5mm. Therefore, based on the evaluation, SAR testing is not required for this device.
