RF Exposure Evaluation Report for CCUT Device

RF exposure

This document presents an RF Exposure Evaluation for a device manufactured by CCUT. The evaluation adheres to KDB 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06 and part 2.1093, ensuring compliance with established safety standards. The primary objective is to determine whether the device meets the SAR Test Exclusion Threshold conditions, thereby negating the need for standalone 1-g head or body and 10-g extremity SAR evaluation.

The evaluation focuses on devices operating within the 100 MHz to 6 GHz frequency range, with test separation distances of ≤ 50 mm. The SAR test exclusion thresholds are calculated using a specific formula that considers the maximum power of the channel, including tune-up tolerance, the minimum test separation distance, and the RF channel transmit frequency. The power and distance values are rounded to the nearest mW and mm, respectively, before calculation, and the final result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison.

The evaluation concludes that the device meets general RF exposure requirements and can be used in portable exposure conditions without restriction. Specifically, for BLE operation at 2480 MHz, the calculated threshold is 0.6299, which is below the limit of 3.0, thus a SAR test is not required.
