RF Exposure Evaluation for 2BPPJ-A2PRO Device

RF Exposure

This document presents the RF exposure evaluation for a device with FCC ID 2BPPJ-A2PRO. The evaluation is conducted according to 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06, which outlines the thresholds for SAR test exclusion for devices operating between 100 MHz and 6 GHz at test separation distances of 50 mm or less.

The evaluation uses the formula [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] ·[√f(GHz)] to determine if SAR testing is required. The result is compared against thresholds of ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR.

For the EDR mode, the worst-case output power is 5.02dBm (3.18 mW) at 2480MHz. Using a test separation distance of 5mm, the calculation yields a value of 1.00, which is less than the 3.0 threshold for 1-g SAR. Therefore, based on this evaluation, SAR testing is not required for this device.
