This document presents an RF Exposure Evaluation conducted in accordance with FCC guidelines, specifically KDB 447498 D01 and part 2.1093. The evaluation determines whether standalone 1-g head or body and 10-g extremity SAR testing is required for general population exposure conditions. According to the guidelines, SAR testing is not required if the corresponding SAR Test Exclusion Threshold conditions are met.
The evaluation focuses on devices operating between 100 MHz and 6 GHz with test separation distances of ≤ 50 mm. The 1-g and 10-g SAR test exclusion thresholds are calculated using a formula that considers the maximum power of the channel, tune-up tolerance, minimum test separation distance, and RF channel transmit frequency. The power and distance values are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation, and the final result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison.
The document includes a specific evaluation for Bluetooth functionality, presenting the maximum power, tune-up power, frequency, minimum distance, calculated thresholds, and limit. The results indicate that a SAR test is not required for the Bluetooth operation of the device.
